Sajal Mani Dhital is a seasoned professional who brings a wealth of expertise in research, program design and monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning (MEAL) with over seven years of experience. He excels in various aspects of MEAL, including designing MEAL frameworks, MEAL Plan, theory of change (ToC) and logical frameworks, creating both quantitative and qualitative tools, conducting surveys and qualitative exercises, analyzing data, and preparing comprehensive reports. The areas where Sajal has made significant contributions through MEAL services cover a wide spectrum, including renewable energy, inclusive education, community engagement, relief and recovery efforts, governance, livelihood, health, climate change impact reductions, catalytic change, disaster response, needs assessments, impact evaluations, baseline/ midterm/ endline evaluations, situational analyses, gender equality, disability, and social inclusion (GEDSI), and safeguarding. His extensive experience in working with diverse MEAL systems has provided him with a deep understanding of overarching MEAL principles and approaches. Sajal holds a Master’s degree in Public Policy and Management from Kathmandu University School of Management, Nepal and am also a graduate of Economics from University of Delhi, India. Beyond the world of research and MEAL, I am a passionate writer and has contributed as a columnist to respected Nepali national dailies, including The Kathmandu Post and The Himalayan Times.
